Guess I'm not the only one to have noted the Gap's lame lift of American Apparel's trade dress...

Adweek's "AdFreak" column pinned it on August 14, originally via a tip from @MegFlyn (Megan Flynn) of Bradley & Montgomery, apparently the minds behind Microsoft's "Mojave" campaign. Nice pick, Meg. Check out the American Gapparel side-by-side comps below The print ads are particularly embarrassing rips, but the stores look virtually cloned as well.
