My Latest SF Chronicle column: Why "the bow" was the least interesting thing about Obama's tour of Asia

Here's my latest "Asian Pop" col for the ever-shrinking San Francisco Chronicle (it's dwindled to Nano-sized now; next year we'll probably see the "SFChron Shuffle"—an edition that consists of eight random pages of the full paper). It looks at the ideas presented by the president in his Tokyo speech of America as an "Asia-Pacific nation," and himself as the "first Pacific president"—and their implications for our present and future.
